Why wineries in Napa valley are considered the best?

At some Sonoma county wineries, the only option you got is taste the wine they offer and maybe do a bit of browsing in the winery's gift shop. Few of them offer self-guided tours that offer a little information but seem impersonal and shallow. If you're looking for a really great winery tour that includes something different and memorable, go for Sonoma county wineries, they offer fun, interesting tours in beautiful locations.

Most of the winery tours differ in length, but to avoid sensory overload and a feeling of being too rushed, it's best to choose only one to do at a time, including a couple of other winery visits.

Most Healdsburg ca wineries focus their visitor experience on how their wines taste by themselves. It is pretty good if you're a wine snob, but most of us don't consume wine that way. Instead, we drink it with food.

Some Healdsburg ca wineries that promote food and wine pairing just shove a Saran wrap-covered paper plate of cheese or other nibbles at you during the wine tasting and leave you to decide what can be done with it. It cannot be so helpful in my opinion, and it doesn't create an experience you'll still be talking about weeks later.

Some winemakers focus on creating wines that taste good with food, and some Healdsburg ca wineries prepare their food and wine pairings with as much care as they make their wines. These would be the kind of places I want to go for a food and wine pairing, and I'm guessing that's where you want to go, too.

3 things everyone should know about Napa valley and Alexander valley wineries

I’ve spent a lot of time in Alexander valley exploring the different vineyards and Alexander valley wineries but it wasn’t until this last trip that I wanted to really dig into it. Surely, I wished to dig in the dirt of every place we stopped.
I’ve always known the Alexander valley is a unique wine region based on its climate and terroir – the land and all the environmental factors that affect a crop.  Yet, I didn’t realize just how diverse. As I start this series of Napa Valley and Alexander Valley, the two wine regions I sipped my way through this past month, I wanted to share some of the fun wine facts every wine lover should know about Napa Valley and Alexander valley vineyards.

1. Alexander valley is one of the most renowned wine making regions in the world, but it is also one of the smallest.

2. While the Valley may be small but it is quite rich in minerals. It contains half of the soil orders that exist within the world. To put it in more accurate, Napa Valley contains 33 soil series with more than 100 soil variations.

3. White it is surely not a wine fact, it is definitely a great thing to know about Alexander valley vineyards. There are three “Old Faithful” geysers in the world and one of which is located near to Calistoga, just north of downtown Calistoga.  (This is a fun side trip when you’re in Napa Valley.)

If you want to explore more facts and planning your visit to Alexander Valley soon, I would suggest to check out https://trentadue.com/.

How winery events can get you more clients?

Are you a serious wine fan? Organizing winery events for clients and prospects could be an ideal client acquisition strategy.

How it’s done
Years ago, I met a vintner who wanted to grow her business. After surveying her clients to determine topics of general interest, she discovered winery events were high on their list.

1 Invitation:

First, she sent an invitation to the segment of her client base interested in wine (and probably some others) indicating she would be organizing a sit-down wine tasting. Both clients and spouses were invited from across Geyserville wineries. The event was free, although the price of admission was to bring along another person or couple as their guest.

2 Place:

She found a bed-and-breakfast property with a large gathering room. She set up tables and chairs classroom-style. She had a raffle prize, meaning attendees would fill out registration cards to be eligible for the drawing.

3 Serve:

Each guest had two glasses in front of them (plus a third for the water.) The presenter, who knew something about wine, told them what they were drinking, along with how to judge colour and other attributes.

4 Present yourself:

Midway through, the presenter took a break and the vintner introduced herself and said a few words about why her vinery was different then other Geyserville wineries. The final four wines were presented in pairs. At the end of the event, she had acquired about 20 new clients, this is it.
